No high pressure sales, Scott was very helpful, told us which vans met out must have list and let us look at our own pace. We saw a van we really liked, again no hard sales, undrrstood we needed to think about it. We went back and bought it, checking servicing and hand over very comprehensive.
They also have a lovely cafe with very fiendly staff, you can go in for a very reasonably priced meal like mince and dumplings, corned beef pie etc kids meals, you don't have to be buying a xaravan to call in the coffee shop

Lovely little cafe, which I have only just discovered in the last couple of months. Sam and her team are very welcoming and provide quality home cooked food at reasonable prices. It's a little gem!

Worst after care I have ever experienced in my life!!!
We left our caravan for the 3rd time for warrenty work as everytime there's always something not completed.
After a voicemail telling us all work complete and ready to pick up I took more time off work drove 200 miles for two items again not being completed. We had arrange for our van to be sold so now lose out on sale and are stuck in limbo waiting on more parts. Been so awful!!

Overall aftercare on warenty work is shocking you would be as well speaking to a chocolate tea pot.. I
have travelled twice from Scotland spent £150 fuel each way! Twice once to get a new seal which wasn't even replaced they stuck it down with a bit of glue! Took van down last week for four warrenty part to be replaced £150 each way four times got a phone call to say all work had been completed turned up today to only find out that two parts outta the four had been completed! No help no remorse only really sorry which does not help my situation in any way! Phoned head off to speak to Paul and Andrew still waiting on my call back !
Wouldn't recommend buying any van from kimberley you will be shat on from a very high hight and your issues mean nothing to them

This is a double review;
1. For Steve in customer service Darlington branch who quickly responded and sorted me out with a spare part which had broken. 5* 👍
2. I have to comment on the 2019 pre-owned motorhome I have. The previous owner purchased it new from Kimberley.
Having owned it for 12 months now I have to say that some of the materials used and quality of workmanship is very poor. This has been highlighted during jobs I have carried out and improvements made to the vehicle e.g. solar panel.
I realize that these motorhomes are built by Hymer Group in County Durham, but it's the Kimberley name they carry.

Look elsewhere please…
All good until you need to contact after sales or warranty. Very poor communication and follow up times are extremely long. You really do feel unimportant and zero customer satisfaction attentiveness. I would highly recommend you consider this review prior to purchasing from Kimberley caravans. Try and buy from family owned and run companies as their care for the customers is far and above what you receive from Kimberley… I only give 1 star review as I would leave a zero star if I could.

194,000 views on google ...OWNER OF KIMBERLEY CARAVANS CONTACTED... PLEASE SEE ATTACHED PHOTOS..COMMON THEME DECEIPTFULL READ OTHER REVIEWS ...Bought a caravan brand new 11 weeks ago. We have had several small issues with the van which kimberly swiftly sorted out for us. We then had an issue with the gas strut that holds the locker door open. The bracket had pulled all the screws out and left a mess. The final straw was while waiting for kimberly to decide how to fix it. We had a
big water leak which we now beleive was part of yhe same issue. (Water leaking in since new and rotting the wood thus the screws fell out. At this point we refused the caravan with support from the finance company. After many weeks of phonecalls we were eventually put in another caravan but we had to pay £4000 on top of the £34.500 that we had already paid as it was a better caravan. The dealer then covered the cost of the mover and WiFi which rrp at around £2000 fitted. We love the caravan but the service we have had has been difficult to say the least. We accepted the deal as we were told the finance company may not re offer finance and the dealer knew this. We feel over all that we got the raw end of the deal as we were more than £2000 out of pocket with trips cut short. Taking the caravan back and forth to the dealers on a weekly basis over several weeks. Lost time at work as I'm self employed. Realistically the parts fitted cost kimberly around £1000. But they will recoup that in the commission from the extra £4000 finance that we have to pay as well as extra interest added. So on paper this was not a good deal for us even though kimberley tried to make out it was. We got a caravan that we love but at great expense to us and nearly 11 weeks of stress lies and passing the book. Would we buy a caravan again from here. Absolutely not....
I have also attached pictures of the repair work that they did on our first new caravan which is appalling. Just to give people an insight into what we were dealing with and why we rejected the first one
If you are considering purchasing a caravan from here please re consider.
After speaking with the owner of kimberly caravans, it seems he cares less than the dealership.
UPDATE. CARAVAN SOLD AT A MASSIVE LOSS TO US AS HAD ENOUGH AND DO NOT WANT TO DEAL WITH THEM EVER AGAIN SO SAD ..
As for their reply what a joke. Pure lies

The whole experience was great from start to finish. Phone correspondence with salesman Andy Smith, before we even seen the van was perfect. When we travelled the 180 miles to view the van we where shown around by Andy and then left alone to discuss it between ourselves.
We bought the van that day and arranged to pick it up a fortnight later. I got a lift to a town nearby and Andy was kind enough to come and pick me up. The handover was done by Benson who was very knowledgeable about everything related to the van. Also Matt from the accessories shop was also very helpful and answered all my questions.
Andy told us he would give us a call in a week to see how we were getting on and he did.
He also said he would call at the end of the season and I am in no doubt he will.
Once agai thanks to everyone at Kimberley, especially Andy, Benson and Matt.
